Costa Coffee – the renowned British coffee chain that has been shaping coffee rituals in China since 2006 – is noticeably more colorful this month due to its delightful collaboration with China artist Riyang Zhou and her brilliant, larger than life baby, the Tireless Girl. Those of us who enjoying keeping up with the city’s vibrant art scene are already familiar with this wonderful character that has been regularly surprising us with her pop-ups in the city’s coolest spots, like the Rockbund exhibition that took place this summer. And the ones that don’t know Tireless Girl? Well, this is what Costa is hoping to change!

I thought it is such a positive celebration of human – particularly female – resilience. 2/3rds of our customers at Costa Coffee are women, so I wanted to share with them this inspiring character and remind them in an emotional way about how brilliant we are, in our own tireless pursuits to create and experience joy as we go through our lives.”

Apart from colorful merchandise and gift items with Tireless Girl image, Costa Coffee has also created two unique drinks to celebrate the collaboration – the Donut-shaped Light Cheese Latte and Donut-shaped Light Cheese Milk tea, inspired by Tireless Girl’s iconic pose.
